Who's Who:
Dennis Patouhas - Controller, DMC New York
Jack Rakes - Director, Western Area Field Operations
Believed to be from mid to late 1982, this undated copy of a handwritten memo from an unidentified DMC staffer relates to the status of a handful of company owned cars. In addition to listing the DeLorean units, including the original prototype, a number of non-DeLorean vehicles are listed including a Mazda RX7, MDC Show and Training Chassis', Engineering Mule D28, a Fiat Jungla Savio and something still unidentified referred to as a "Louar".
Of the DeLorean units listed, a number of production cars are listed includint the Johnny Carson DeLorean (VIN 4523) and something referred to as Prototype #2, which is believed to be the NADA display car shown in New Orleans in 1980. (See page 15, deloreans, V304) Several of the DeLorean units have notations of being sold or loaned by Roy Nesseth, who by many accounts was quite active in the business activities of the company throughout 1982.
