1984 delorean factory auction catalog
On the dates of May 22-24th, 1984 the end of the DeLorean factory was assured when the Joint Receivers oversaw the auction of the contents of the DeLorean factory, which had been kept mostly intact since the final car was built in December of 1982 in hopes that something could or would be done to revive the DeLorean production in some way.
In 153 pages, this auction catalog lists everything that was to be sold over the three days, including hand tools, the automated Tellus carriers, tables, chairs, desks, carpets and more. Amongst the items on the third and final day of the auction, seven DeLorean cars were auctioned, all very early production cars including one right hand drive (RHD) and one pilot build car.
