Warranty Cards

Donated by DeLorean Motor Company (Texas)

As each new DeLorean was sold, the dealer was required to complete and return a consumer information card to DeLorean.  This card was used to create the owner database for warranty and recall purposes. Far from complete, these 1600+ remaining cards were located in the inventory of DeLorean parts acquired by DMC (Texas) in 1997.  They indicate the name and address of the original purchaser, as well as the VIN, interior color and transmission type along with the date of sale.  They have provided an important record of the Delorean Motor Company.

The Museum will offer copies of these cards to car owners in the future.
