dealer stripe packages

DeLorean Motor Company had several different stripping package proposals created before the cars came to market in 1980-1981. Eventually two of the more than dozen proposals were approved for production by the 3M Company. These are pictured below, along with the company documentation regarding how many were ordered from 3M and when they were shipped and to where.

DMCNA records indicate 1,384 sets of black stripes and 866 thin gray stripes - including some sent directly to DeLorean Cadillac and the final shipment was sent/sold to Consolidated International - were received from 3M between June 1981 and January 1983.
