We had a great time meeting lots of old and new friends at the Springfield show this last month and want to thank DMC (Midwest) for allowing us to share their space! Most of all, we want to thank those who stopped by to say "hello" and especially those who made a purchase from our available books, shirts, memorabilia and VIN research items! Your support makes this site, and everything on it, available to anyone, anywhere in the world!

In the run-up to the event, we were able to create and upload SIX new galleries (shown above) that were curated especially for DCS attendees! Now these are "live" and you should go and check them out!

Unseen for the last 35+ years, these Polaroid photos of an engineering development car with a "Swiss" door hinge come from The Christopher Bradley Archive.

Informal photos of the chassis and prototype development process at Lotus in 1979-1980 were provided courtesy of Leif Montin!

Also courtesy of Leif Montin are these Polaroid photographs of the Visioneering car at Irvine with prototype tape striping packages applied, and early production cars with development versions of the luggage rack and ski rack fitted!

Finally, several years ago, Bill Collins generously sent a number of photographs from his private collection showing the Giugiaro/ItalDesign epowood styling mockup that was created for John DeLorean in 1975. These photos show the design in its original, unmodified form at ItalDesign, several years before it was modified to reflect the "softening" done by Giugiaro in 1979.
