Reproduction Certificate of Origin (MSO) - Takes 1-2 weeks to be shipped
Every new car manufacturer creates a "Certificate of Origin" for each vehicle manufactured for retail sale. Sometimes referred to as an "MSO" or "Manufacturer's Statement of Origin", these are exchanged with the Department of Motor Vehicles for a Certificate of Title at the time of retail sale. Most buyers never see them, especially if the selling dealer handles the vehicle registration.
These reproductions are created using company records with the following information:
- Vehicle Identification Number
- Date of Sale to the DeLorean dealer
- DeLorean invoice number to dealer
- Dealer name and address
These clearly marked as reproductions and are sold as a collectible/novelty item for display purposes only. They are not proof of ownership, past or present, and will not be accepted as proof of ownership by any Department of Motor Vehicles office.
